Porterville Breakfast Rotary Cancer Run/Walk
The Porterville Breakfast Rotary Run/Walk was developed more than a decade ago after the club experienced devastating losses to cancer. Since its inception, the event honors and recognizes individuals in the Porterville community who have bravely fought and lost their battle with cancer. With cancer affecting so many world-wide, the run garners tremendous support raising over $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually and over 400 runners from all walks of life. Proceeds from the event remain local and benefit Sierra View Medical Center's Roger S. Good Cancer Treatment Center. Proceeds fund prevention, detection and outreach efforts for the community.
